Good Morning T&T Community,
Below is a new program update. There is a small correction in this communication from what was posted on the website earlier this month. Please be sure to forward this information on to your state and regional clubs.
T&T Program
As we enter the new quadrennium, we want to provide clarity on athlete levels, mobility, and qualification opportunities under the updated rules. Please review the following important updates:
1. Choosing Your Athlete's Level for the 2025 - 2026 Season
Athletes’ levels for the upcoming season may be determined in three ways:
· Compete at the same level they competed in during the 2025 season.
· They may move one level below their 2025 competitive level without requesting downward mobility.
· They may move one level above their 2025 competitive level without hitting mobility.
This flexibility allows athletes, coaches, and clubs to make the best developmental choices within the new structure.
2. Mobility Scores
· All mobility scores earned up until August 1, 2025 remain valid and may be used until December 31, 2026.
· Any mobility scores achieved after August 1, 2025 will follow the new mobility requirements and scores.
Please plan accordingly as you set athlete goals and competitive paths over the next two seasons.
3. National Qualification Opportunities
Exciting updates have been made to broaden opportunities for advancement:
· Level 8-Open athletes may now use the Winter Classic as a qualifying path in addition to their State and Regional Championships. Winter Classic, State Championships, and Regional Championships may NOT be used as an eligibility competition (per Rules and Policies Section V E.2.d.)
· These athletes now have three opportunities to qualify for Nationals. Athletes must attend their respective State and Regional Championships in addition to hitting the national qualification score at one of the three qualifying events or be the Regional Champion in events in order to attend the National Championships.
· Elite athletes will now have four qualification opportunities available to them, including Winter Classic, Elite Challenge, State, and Regional Championships. In addition to hitting the national qualifying score, they must attend 3 of the 4 competitions to be eligible to attend nationals, unless they are a member of a national team. (See Rules and Policies for more details)
We are confident these changes will help provide clearer pathways, support athlete growth, and expand opportunities for success at the national and elite levels.
Thank you for your continued commitment to your athletes and our community as we begin this new quadrennial cycle.
